I was lucky enough to take part in Alwyn’s qigong Classes in oxygen mind body and soul . Going in I had no idea what to expect , as I had never heard anything about qigong prior to this and didn’t really know weather or not it would be for me or if I would be even able to do it . But I can honestly say I absolutely loved it and it very quickly became that class that I looked forward to every single week and that hour and a half was for me , and ended up signing up to the next course ❤️ Over time I noticed big changes in myself such as I had way more energy , my mood changed , I was a more positive person ! And I noticed a big differance in my flexibility! Alwyn was a fantastic teacher , she made the experience both fun and relaxing , and really took the time to show us each move and was extremely patient and friendly with all of us 🙂 . What's in this class?

This class is a very gentle qigong class with beautiful flowing movements and stretching exercises.

It can be used as a warm up before your qigong practice or it can be practiced as a stand alone qigong practice.

it is easy to do and has a very positive effect on your body & mind while also promoting your health & wellbeing.

This routine opens the meridian lines which are the rivers of energy that flow through your body and energise your internal organs to allow the smooth flow of Qi & blood.

It’s a great routine to flush out any stagnation in the body and meridians which can cause physical pain if left untreated.

It also assists to flush out emotional build up which is energy in motion and sometimes this energy can become stuck but when you practice qigong it will move the energy to help you feel energetically lighter and happier.

The first part of the class we will open with a standing meditation to calm the body & mind. Then we will move onto the Meridian qigong practice and then we will close and finish with a standing meditation.
